Here is a quick Ventral Vagal practice that you can do by yourself!

The Ventral Vagal state is when we feel presence, playfulness, curiosity, energised, and able to respond how we want.

This state is when we most feel ourselves, whish is why we call it our ‘True Self’ or ‘Authentic Self’ state. Often, people describe it as ‘coming back to myself.

When we are Ventral Vagally activated, we are conscious, awake, alert, aware and in-touch with what is happening within and around us whilst feeling safe and engaged.

To be in a Ventral Vagal state is to be curious, connected, open-hearted, present and energised.

Finding small practices like the one above is a helpful way to guide our systems back to the Ventral Vagal state.

ENJOY!
